Week8A

After working on my project over the weekend and continuing working on it in class today, I have come across the following design. It took me a while to figure out what to say for the copy. When designing for a modern and high-end watch company, I didn't want the 404 text to sound too "fun" or "goofy", so I decided to write with a sense of elegance and style by mirroring the way that they speak on their website. I tried using an illustrator element of a watch as the "0" in 404 but I don't think that it was successful. It's important to not get overwhelmed by too many elements and let the ones that are there stand out on their own.
